This website exists purely as a sacred, peaceful digital space for daily prayer and contemplation. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, marketing cookies, or any tracking telemetry.

To provide a comfortable daily reading routine, the website saves your reading preferences exclusively inside your web browser's localStorage under the key dhc_preferences_v2:

• Your chosen theme (Ivory Day, Sandalwood Sepia, Night Temple, High Contrast)
• Your preferred font size and line spacing
• Your chosen original verse script (Devanagari, Gujarati, Tamil, etc.)
• Your bookmarked verse IDs
• Your last-read verse position (to allow you to resume seamlessly)
• Your daily Japa chant count and target

This information never leaves your device and is never transmitted to any server. If you clear your browser cookies and site data or tap "Reset Preferences" in Settings, this local data is erased immediately.

You do not need to create an account, log in, or provide an email address. The Hanuman Chalisa belongs to all devotees, freely and without obstruction.

We use only a single functional first-party cookie (dhc_locale) to remember your chosen language route across visits. We do not set third-party cookies, tracking beacons, fingerprinting scripts, or sale of personal data.
